-There is a expiration date on the RP and you just need to retur to US before the RP expires.
Does my mom need to stay in US for more than a year to be eligible to apply for another RP?
-No such requirements.
what is the better interval for RP appications?
-It is better not to apply for the RP too often unless you have very strong reason to justify it. Otherwise, USCIS may not approve your RP applicaiton again and again.
I just don;t want to trigger any attentions on her GC status. She doesn;t care citizenship that much.
