1. With the significant advance of EB2 cutoff date, we have seen that a lot
of our peers' I485 in EB2 have been recently approved from either TSC and
NSC
2. We also noticed dramatically delay in approving I485 in EB1. Especially a
lot of cases has surpassed the 4 months time frame specified by UCSIS.
3. We worried about that UCSIS has weighed their working force on processing
EB2 cases and neglect EB1.

o Whom It May Concern,
We are a group of people who have applied our permanent residencies under
EB1 (outstanding researcher and professors) category. Granting EB1 based
permanent residency benefits the national interests to the United States of
America since these talented outstanding researchers contribute a lot in
both academic and industrial fields.
We have recently noticed that a significant delay in processing I-485
applications under EB1 category, with most of the cases exceeded the 4-month
timeframe specified by USCIS. At the same time, many I-485 applications
under EB2 category have been recently approved by USCIS.
We are concerned that that UCSIS has weighed their workforce on processing
EB2 cases and neglected EB1.
We believe the dramatic delay in EB1 I-485 approval will harm the interests
on both the applicants and their employers based on the following reasoning:
1. The delay of EB1 I-485 processing has blocked many talented foreign
outstanding researchers and professors from getting more funds and projects
for their employer; thus blocked their employer from making more profit and
creating more jobs to Americans.
2. Some talented foreign outstanding researchers and professors could not
get their green card to start their own business, where they would create
more jobs and hire more Americans.
We therefore request that USCIS consider speeding up the process of EB1 I-
485 applications.
