got I-140 approval in 2008. Last year I swtiched employer and transferred H1-B. At that time, i was on year 7 of H1B, but since I have I-140 approval, I got H1-B approved until 2013.

Now I may switch employer again, do I have any risk on H1-B transfer?

-Depends on whether the I-140 is withdrawn or not. If no, you do not have a problem. My suggestion is that you had better use premium processing to get the H1 trhasfer result before you quit your current job. If it is approved, then you can resign your current and work for the new employer. Otherwise, keep your current job with your current H1 status.

I do not know if my 1st employer has revoked the i-140.

Do I have a way to check?

-No unless the sponsor can tell you. I don't suggest you to ask the sponsor in case it reminds the employer to withdraw the I-140. Just assume the I-140 is still there. If your h1 is denied, that may mean the I-140 is not there anymore.

Any trouble for me to restart the GC process with the new employer?
