Thanks, 8-teacher. This is an institution with very very high reputation. The boss told me that HR have their priority, such as hiring professors. They would delay in submitting my materials. She can wait at most for 3 months. No longer than that, but HR officer told her it might take 4-5 month. She would rather believe that this is true.
With my PhD degree, I had to go back to a univ, where there are a lot of minority students. The minority professors here are very protective and do whatever they can to protect these children. Some of them are very mean towards internationls. Comparing cons and pros, it seems to me that it is better to have a job and get some experience even if it is J1 visa.
