863211-失業救濟

Dear Teacher 8:

I got green card (NIW based) in last month and want to change job. If I move to some short time contract job such as 6 months, can I get 失業救濟 once the contract is over.

Can you teach me more what is the creteria to get 失業救濟 ( I know lay off is ok for 失業救濟, but fired or resign can not get 失業救濟. How about the contract job when the contract is end.)
