EB2，PD10/6/06. 7/15 收到email說有RFE，今天律師終於收到信。全文如下：

USCIS acknowledges that the instant form I-485 adjustment application LINxxx was based on the 2nd preference form I-140 visa petition LINxxx file on your behalf on xxx, 2006. USCIS records indicate that your spouse now has an approved 2nd preference form I-140 LINxxx with an earlier priority date that affords you an available visa also. If you wish to transfer the basis of your adjustment application to the newly approved Form I-140, a request for conversion must be made in writing. If no response is received, USCIS will continue adjudicate of the instant Form I-485 based on your 2nd preference I-140.
Please note that it is imperative that your response is received by this office in a timely manner to ensure continued processing, as a visa is currently available for your case.

背景：我老公是2003EB3。我2006file EB2. 隨後我們都換工作。我現在是用工卡。老公refile EB2, I-140今年早些時候批了（that’s why it has “your spouse now has an approved 2nd preference form I-140 LINxxx with an earlier priority date”）.老公I-140批下後看到我的排期到了就沒有再 relink（或conversion）。
問題：
1. 1.怎麽回信呢？是說continue 我的case， 還是conversion to 老公的？我擔心我說從我這邊繼續，USCIS會不會接下去又問我要employment letter什麽的（因為我換州，換工作了）？拖得更長呢？
2. 2.我換工作後，新單位不願意做H-1我就用工卡了，也沒有聘請律師。材料都在以前單位的律師那裏。現在以前單位律師收到我的RFE，轉給我，說如果讓他們來回信，他們收$250--$500.請問我可以自己回個信嗎？哪個好心人給寫個模板呀？
