It is highly likely that I am getting an offer from a public school district. The manager told me that the latest day she wanted the incumbent to start is July 20th. In the email, she said: “I put July 18, 2011 as the hiring date. Please note that July 18, 2011, not be the actual start date. Everything is contingent upon your clean background check and a complete application.” Does this mean she might be flexible? Oct 1st?
I checked myvisajobs.com and found out that this public school district sponsored four H1-B visa since 2007. Does this indicate that this school district will do J visa?
I missed one job opportunity a month ago. The university doesn’t do H1B sponsorship. Instead of talking with the hiring manager, I talked with HR. This potential manager told me this: “For information about background checks and other questions (salary, benefits, etc.), contact our HR Department” Who do you suggest to communicate with? HR or the hiring manager?
Thanks a million in advance.
