My company's the attorney said they did not receive the PERM documents but they downloaded the one from DOL website.
-This lawyer made a joke. He/she should have contacted DOL to get the PERM approval document if he had not received it before he/she filed the I-140. The I-140 filing has to contain the official PERM approval document. I really can not believe that an immigration lawyer is so unprofessional.
My question : if DOL never send the PERM documents to USCIS, My I-140(EB2) will never be approved. Right?
-Correct. Your employer/lawyer need to get the PERM approval document from DOL and send it to USCIS. DOL will not send it to USCIS for your I-140 because it is not DOL's bussiness.
