今天收到移民局的信件，關於媽媽綠卡申請，我還需要補充材料。信上說You submitted a "Notarial Certificate" translation of your birth certificate. Petitioner and Beneficiary are requested to submit a certified photocopy of the Household Registry or the booklet issued by the Province Health Department regarding your birth.(AND SUBMIT AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION IF NEEDED).
我的問題是：信上是否要求戶口本公證？
-Yes. They need secondary evidence to verify the reationship between you and your mother.
國內的戶口本公證是否有效？
-Yes. That is what they want. The 戶口本公證 should contain both you and your mother's names and birhtdate
是否能在美國辦戶口公證？
-You need to have the copy of the orignal戶口本 and then, you can do it in US if you want to, but do it in China if more convenient.
因為我沒有醫院開出的出生證明，所以隻能寄希望於戶口本了。多謝各位！
