It seems that K3 visa may help spouse to be in USA faster, but need to file I-130 and 129F at the same time, and the K3 visa should be manily gated by the approval of 129F.

So, do we know if the approval of 129F is usually much faster than the approval of 130 ??

-Hard to say. If your I-130 is approved before the I-129F or both two petitions are approved at the same time, your K3 visa application will be cancelled and USCIS/NVC directly process your immigration visa application. If your I-129F is approved first, then NVC will process your K3 visa applciation. 

otherwsie, the K3 visa does not seem to help to shorten seperation time.
