Sorry about your story.
1) your wife and kids are safe.
2) if you don't want to be black here, you should find a new company who would like to sponsor you H1. you can go back China to issue the new H1.(this is no problem eventhough you applied greencard, H1 no immigrate trend issue).
3) if you used you EAD(no H1), you cannot transfer to H4.
4) try to ask your wife to apply grren card again.
