I got the same problem and you are right. The new H1 approval will come in as I797B, i.e. no I94 attached. I asked you where to go to get visa a couple of days ago. And this friend may have the same problem soon. The approval says I need to go to Beijing --- however the attorney says Canada is ok. Is there any documents that I could print out from some government agencies about Canada(or other cities than Beijing) is ok? Thanks!
