That why I asked you to ask HR whether they wrote to request USCIS to withdraw the approval H1 and whether they received the USCIS notice that the case was cancelled. If no, you have no problem. So, ask her again. USCIS will not cancel the approval H1 unless your employer write a letter to request it. Of course, if your h1 has cheating materials, USCIS will revoke it (it is not in your case).
