8 大俠，I got the denial letter from USCIS today. It said because my I-485 is denied on Feb 4, so my application for I-765 has to be denied.
-What you can do now is to contact USCIS to see when they sent the I-485 denial notice. After you get the I-485 denial notice, you c an file I-485 Motion to Reopen/Reconsideration.
What I don't understand is that when my lawyer sent in the response letter to the local USICS office back in January, the IO told her that my case hasn't arrived at his desk yet. He will keep an eye for it but will not chase after it.
-Normally after the interview, the IO in the local office can do nothing because he/she has sent the case back to the USCIS Service Center. So, the only thing you can do is talk to your lawyer about your situation and ask the lawyer to contact USCIS to get the I-485 Denial Notice and the, file I-129B Motion to Reopen for your denied I-485 and you still have a chance. So, talk to your lawyer as soon as possible.
