Pjiang and 863211: H1B transfer question

My H1B passed 6 years and EB2 green card application is still pending, now I'd like to change a job. Can I get H1B transfer or I have to use EAD? If I use EAD, am I running the risk to lose my status if my green card get denied? Thank you very much for the help!
