-Just use F1.

謝謝！如果H4被拒，我原來的F1（9月生效）還有用嗎？
-Depends on how long USCIS will make a decision on your H4 application. If they denies your h4 in August one month before your I20 is effective, you can stay in US until your F1 is effective in Sept. If they denies your h4 earlier than that, you need to go out of US to get an F1 visa.
