Our current status: EB3 485 pending.
My daughter is going to College this year, we are Canadian citizens; don't need AP to travel outside of US.

How can she reinstate her H4 status if her I-485 is denied
-She just needs to bring he paasport, her birth certificate and your/your spouse's H1 approval notice to the US/Canada border (port of entry) to get an H4 I-94 and come back to get the H4 status.

and how can she apply her financial aid?
-She needs to use AP to go out of US (e.g. Canada) and come back to get the parolee I-94/status to be qualified for the Ferderal financial aid.

By the way, what is AOS?
-Adjustment of status
Will her status be updated to AOS automatically or we have to do something to change her status from H4 to AOS?
-As long as her non-immigration status (e.g. H4) expires, her status will be automatically AOS because of her I-485 pending. Nothing needed to do.
