Leaving of Absence (LOA) 可以適用於H1b visa holders 嗎？

現在想讓老板幫下忙，申請兩個月的Leaving of Absence (LOA),這樣好有更多一點的時間找工作（我現在的工作三月一號到期），有人知道是否LOA適用於H1b visa holders嗎？我在一所大學做postdoc.萬分感謝！
