I showed my old and new I797s when I entered to the States.
-You made a big mistake. Once you did H1 transfer, the old H1 approval notice was invalid, and you can not use it to get the h1 I-94 at the port of entry. You have to use the new H1 approval notice sponsored by the employer you are working.

I possibly presented them to the immigrant officer the old I797 from previous employer (not remember). So they gave the stamp on my old I-797 from previous employer but not based on my new I-797.

Is it still a issue?
-Yes, you might have big trouble. You should have found this issue at the beginning and it seems too late now. The CBP might not fix it for you because it seems it was not their fault. I do not have a good idea for you. You may find a lawyer to see how to do.
