回複：因公護照過期可以回中國嗎？有美國綠卡。

幫朋友問問。他爸有綠卡，但十幾年前是拿的因公護照來美國的，護照早已過期限。現在想回國探親。有什麽辦法嗎？據說他爸申請過過護照延期，但是交了申請以後就沒有下文了。
-If he did not get a valid passport, he can not come back to U.S. even if he has green card. It seems it is difficult for a Chinese to change his 因公護照 to private護照 unless his previous working unit in China supports him in this matter. So, he needs to think about it carefully before he go back to China. If he is not confident in this matter, he may just apply for a US citizenship.
