急！！ 急問pjiang，863211等各位前輩。這種情況怎麽辦？

我今年年初被雷了，從H1B轉成了B2 身份。我的B2這個月 9月25號過期，現在有個postdoc的offer。可是今天那個學校負責H1B的人告訴我說：Obtain Prevailing Wage from the state Dept of Economic Development 可能會需要倆個禮拜，所以可能到
10月初才可以file我的H1B申請。現在有倆個問題:

1)Obtain Prevailing Wage from the state Dept of Economic Development 為什麽需要這麽久？ 有沒有什麽辦法可以快些。

2）如果真的要到10月初才可以file我的H1B申請的話，這之間會有1-2 個禮拜的gap，我的H1B申請還會批嗎？ 有沒有什麽辦法？
