10 多年前J1從中國來美國工作1 年後去加拿大學習工作並入了加籍. 幾年前TN來美工作後傳H-1B. 剛收到485-RFE, 其中要J-1豁免。很奇怪，按照中國領館的豁免條例，我已不再是中國公民，不具豁免的首要條件。真是走投無路！
-Because you were Chinese citizen when you got the J1 status, you need to get J1 waiver before you filed your I-485. You still need J1 waiver no matter how long the time passed and what citizenship you have now. Otherwise, your I-485 will be denied.
