Dear friends,
I would like to have your opinion on how to keep my legal status in US when my H1B exceeds 6-year limit in a few months.
1)Can I file H4 application since my hu*****and is currently in 7th year H1B extension? (I heard that I can’t get H4 since I am not allowed to stay in H status for more than 6 years, is this true?)
2)If H4 is not an option for me, what are other options? If I change to F1, can I get a new H1B later without leaving US? Should I keep F1 at least a year in order to get a new H1B?
It is very urgent for me, and please accept my gratitude in advance!!
