謝謝863211。h4有效期至明年9月。那麽現在看來隻需H1一人做transfer, 另H4告訴校方withdraw the H4-->F1 petition.
-Yes, you do not need to extend H4 this time.

But the exception is that if your H1 has gap (you lost job for a while, and then find a job now), your spouse had better need to do h4 renewal together with your H1 transfer. Because after your spouse withdraw the F1 application, there will a gap in his/her status aslo.
