I had two A#. One with EB3 on 03/2005 and other with EB2-NIW on 07/2007. Both had I140 approved. But today I received a letter said my case had been transferred to local office. The letter did not say my priority date. The letter said: “Preliminary processing of the above application or petition has been complete and it has been transferred to the USCIS office at my city. That office will notify you when they schedule an interview on the application or petition. Any further inquiries should be made to that office”. Does it sound good or not? How long will I receive a scheduled date for my interview? What kind of materials usually will I have to prepare? Is there any way I can speed up my application?
By the way, I had been arrested once before but I have been approved innocent with a jury trial (I was self defense). I attached arrest record and jury trial result when I sent my I485 application. But I had one more criminal charge (class C) after I submitted my I485 application this year. My second legal case was kind of funny: I was dismissed by DA right away even without a real court and I received a dismiss letter from mail (not on the court). However, I did not get a chance to tell INS on my second legal case. Does it indeed matter on my I485?
How to deal interview? Thanks in advance
