Thanks for answering my question in my original post.

我的H-1B延期是今年一月遞交的，申請時附上當時號碼為A的I-94複印件，其後出過國，入境時用AP獲得新I-94號碼B。我的H-1B延期申請六月初才批準，批準的上有新的I-94，號碼還是A。
我理解批件上的I-94是我的最新I-94，但是它還是舊的號碼A，我在出境時已將號碼A的I-94上交了。請問這樣會有問題嗎？

My follow up question:
My lawyer suggested that "I see that you reentered the US using your Advance Parole (AP) and were issued a new I-94 that indicates that you have been paroled into the United States. The next time you depart the US, you should surrender this card. If you will be returning to the US with the AP, you should not surrender the tear-off I-94 card found at the bottom of your H-1B approval notice. If, however, you plan on applying for the H-1B visa while you are abroad, you should surrender both I-94 cards."

My question is that I will probably use AP to return to the US in the future. If I surrender the AP I-94 as suggested by my lawyer, what would be the meaningful I-94 to state my status when I return - the new AP I-94 or the H-1B I-94?
