I received an offer from a university and plans to file an H1B petition. But I am struggling about if I should file it under Premium Processing ($1000)? I will start in late August this year, and right now it is about 3 months away.
I just checked I129 processing status of CA Service Center, and the data by April 15 show that petitions are processed till Feb. 15. However, since many new petitions are cap-subjected influxed in the service center between April 1 to April 15, I am not sure this 2-month lead time will be prolonged somehow right now. So how do you think - should I file a PP or not?
Thank you very much!
