that time, China, india et al are not as good as today.
You go back China today is totally different with you go back china that time. That time people try to get green card to truely want to stay and make a living in US for themselves and for their kids. Today a lot of people with green cards want to go back china and give up thier green cards. So the situation is totally different now.

Maybe for most of us, going back Chian offers us better life and better future than staying US can offer us. The time, the moment and the momentum are all different now.
