- Guess your attorney knew what he said contradicts with USCIS I-485 Standard Operating Procedure, so he did not use "May", "Would", or "Will", but a "Might".
I read many of your posts here and it seems very clear that 485 won't be approved if PD is not current. So why my lawyer insisted I don't need to do anything? Is he wrong? Anybody could help me with this?
If he is wrong, what should I do? Relink 485 to EB2 140 once it's approved? If I relink by myself, then does it mean my lawyer will stop representing me and USCIS will contact me directly in the future?
- Being represented does not restrict you from contacting USCIS directly. You are always presented unless you file another G-28 to get rid of your attorney.
2. My H1 expired and I decide to use EAD. Do I need to inform my employer or USCIS?
- Employer only
