Estimated CP appointment time

Hi! 小白兔 Thanks for the help!!! I thought many posts from you about CP. I am from Taiwan. I also choose CP for my last step of green card process. My case was forwarded to AIT on 12/5/2007. My Priority Date is 10/4/2001. Can you believe it??? Anyway until today I still don't hear anything from them or the lawyer. Typically how long will I received the appointment letter??? Or is there anyway to check my case status in AIT??? Currently I am in my 7 years H1-B extension. Also Our company has many rumors about laid off.... I am really worry now......
