If you don't have a valid independent H/L/P/O status in addition to 485 pending now and plan to 自己去drop off I-485 soon, you need to have other approved immigration petition (I-140 or I-130) to file or transfer I-485 now, or you need to leave USA. If you will apply for US GC in the future in China, then it's no difference. But Staying black (=not leaving US and not filing another I-485 now)after this withdraw you will lose your chance for EB based GC inside USA. Without leaving US, your next GC chance still will be get married to another US citizen.
