Teacher Pjiang, what if I cancel the check for 2nd I-140?

For the second application, I wrote two seperate checks for I-140 and I-485. What will happen if I cancel I-140 check while maintain I-485 check? Will I-485 automatically be re-linked to 1st I-140?
