Been to Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.
Vancouver is the most expensive place to live. The realty price is ridiculously high. Very high tax rate,on both income and sales tax. I heard that many "white" people who owned house in Vancouver have sold them to the new immigrants (you know where they come from) and move out of Vancouver.
While I was in Montreal, we took a horse-carriage tour of the city. The horseman said that many many people in Montreal earn less than the minimun tax threshhold -- which is $24,000 CND a year!
Almost everything in Canada is much more expensive than that in the U.S. -- gas, food, rent, etc. Yet the income is less. I cannot help wondering how most of the Canadians survive????
My impression about Canada.
