the clerk can NOT provided any legal advise. If you filed as Pro Se, you may ask for advise from Pro Se office (belong to federal court).
I am on the same boat, answer from AUSA (US attorney office) due this Friday.
You may try to contact AUSA before due day and talk the people who handle your case, they may be willing to push for your case
