請教一個關於排期的問題

許多律師都說我可以用我太太的出生國參加排期，這意味著我可以同同時遞交I-140和I-485。但公司為我請的律師堅持說這個說法隻適用於consular processing application，不適用於in-country adjustment filing。

各位大俠是否知道確切的規定以及出處？
