I am in US (H4) with my hu*****and. We have a 2 and half year old son in china with my parent. Our canada land expire on June 3, we do not have time to pick my son back, even if we picked him back I do not have time to take care of him at this moment, plus I donot have enough time to get a visa for returning, and I am expecting another baby.
We are planning to land on May 13th weekend. In my case, do we have to give up landing since not all family members are able to land. Or I, as a primum applicant land first, my hu*****and land on the 2nd day to make myself safe to land in case we couple will be denied. or we have to honestly tell the officer, my son is not able to land before expiration date?
We have another issue. I am matching medical resident in US next year. resident program will take about 3-4 years, so that I probably cannot actually immigrate to canada within 3 years after landing, although I really want to immigrant to canada after I finish the training. Is there anything we can do to make it possible or we have to re-apply and give up this landing? or land first and then see what is the other option I may have in the future?
I am sicerely looking for suggestion since our family have this situation. Any imputs will be highly appreciated.
