The number that I used is just this common USCIS phone number. (800) 375 – 5283

Waiting time is not too long nowadays. Just follow their insturction to check your status, and then, if your case is exceeding their normal processing time, you can continue, then talk to a representative. He/she will not have more information than what you saw on-line. However, she/he will put your inquiry into their system. In about two weeks, you will receive a letter from USCIS. Hopefully, it could be some useful information. Good luck!
