sounds like it would be cleared soon. since FBI said "I am assured ....", it may work out soon. Anyway, waiting another 1~2 months won't hurt you at all.

BTW, you may have your AP/EAD renewed and make sure your job would be stable at least in next 6~12months, read more information from below link to really prepare and make yourself ready for the lawsuit.
