Xiaobaitu, please help! I feel upset so much.

My hu*****and (H1B) got check when he went back China for his company's business, unfortunately this is his first trip after he internally transfer to this company this summer. He told me his check has finished and he has got his visa and passport. But this morning before I wanted to make appointment with a doctor, I called a medical insurance company to ask for some coverage, to my great surprise, I was told that we don;t have any medical insurance anymore and I need to ask his company's HR. I feel so upset if there are anything wrong. My concern is: is it possible for his company to fire him before his comingback and cancel our medical insureance because of his delay in China (for a month, his original schedule was to stay for three weeks, but we had a long holiday for our National Day while waiting for his visa), can you tell me, I feel worried so much. Thank you.
