看了一下，好像existing PR 需要去pick up the card in person, 可否讓他們將卡郵寄到在加拿大朋友的地址？
You will be a new PR since you just land.
You can have the card mailed to your friend's address in Canada. Then your friend can mail that to you once you go back to US.

In rare case that they ask you to re-take maple card picture, you can still get into canada with your landing paper although you do not have maple card.
