回複：About notifying USCIS to update home address on pending I1

I think what they told you is right. If you are not the petitioner, you don't need to notify them the address change. I called USCIS about the address change of my I485 and H1B, they told me only 485 can be updated since I am not the petitioner of my H1B. Just for your reference.
