I am currently a F1 graduate student working as a Research assistant. My hu*****and filed his I-485 and the case is still pending. He recently submitted I-485 for me and I've got the receipt number. Yesterday I got a letter from the USCIS said: "This office is unable to complete the processing the I-485 without additional information....You are ineligible for interim employment authorization pursuant to Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2b 10 ii. until 90 days after the missing initial evidence is received." The evidence they required was to establish that my hu*****and is a US Citizen. I don't know whether they made a mistake or they mean that I can't work as a RA. I don't know what to act. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated!
