Parole stamp?

I must have put myself in unnecessary trouble: I've got both Advance Parole and I140 approved recently. Ready to travel home soon. I had a trip yesterday to one small town at the USA-Canadian border. Just for fun, I asked a border officer whether my documents are sufficient for me to reenter the country. He examed it, then he called his colleague to discuss. He was very friendly with me all the time. He came back to me, saying the documents are good, except that I should have the APs stamped. And he did!

I'm scared now after reading more: am I supposed not to get those stamped until my reentry? What do these stamps say besides restating the date of expiration? Does it imply that I have used them once and invalidate them? I will call USCIS for details after the holiday. However, any expert ideas here?

Many thanks!
