your AP should be for multiple enteries, right? the stemp just tells when it will be expired, which means one year is valid from this date. the only difference your today's trip made is shortened the expiration date a little bit. the officer must have taken one of the all same three papers, and one of them you should keep it at home, and take the other one with you when you travel out of the US. each time when you return, they just have a record on this paper. All these I was told by a CIS officer one month ago when I came back the US in the airport.
