i-140 status in nebraska?

my i-140 application was received by nebraska service center in nov. last year, now the center's process date has reached to Mar.24,2003, but i haven't received any response. in fact, i once called the CIS last month ( process date came to Mar.12) and got the letter saying that my case is still pending. i wonder whether i should call the CIS again, or whether my i-485 submittal in september affects my process time. hope the friends who have experience could give some suggestions. thank you very much and merry christmas to you all!
