對 於 什 麽 條 件 下 可 以 錄 取 ， 每 個 學 校 有 不 同 的 policy,並 非 每 所 大 學 都 要 托 福 成 績 及 成 績 單 ， 不 過 你 已 是 post-doc,如 讀 較 低 程 度 的 major,移 民 局 有 可 能 在 申 請 I-539 轉 換 時 找 麻 煩 ，如 碰 到 這 種 情 況 你 要 能 夠 合 理 地 解 釋 你 的 計 劃 。 申 請 轉 F1 之 前 ， 必 須 拿 到 新 的 學 校 錄 取 的 I-20 ， 如 果 時 間 上 來 不 及 ， 可 以 先 底 一 個 I-539 申 請 轉 為 B2，( 其 實 是 轉 不 下 來 的 ， 但 因 遞 上 去 到 處 理 到 有 3-6 個 月 時 間 ，這 期 間 因 案 子 pending,仍 算 合 法 居 留 ， 可 以 用 來 打 時 間 差 )， 在 得 到 I-20 後 再 遞 一 個 轉 F1 的 I-539 即 可 。
