Sorry, I didn't ask that question to the visa specialist. All I ask was "I want to check my visa revalidation status, b/s it has been awhile" and then she asked my passport # and first, last name. that's it. Based on previous postings, the guy who submitted on Aug 20 and received on Dec 4, and I submited on Aug 25 and still waiting for print, (I still have not get yet). (of course, we have to assume labor day and thanksgiving holidays) I would estimate around two weeks take them to load your file into system in DC.
BTW, when did you submitted? I would encourage you to make a phone call if you think your passport should be back. then you can ask the same question as mines, if they said it's still in waiting, then you can ask them when was the received date in DC. based on some indian forum, some indian said sometimes they don't give that answer, some said they do. so you better tried too. it won't hurt you.
