1. I just checked the service center process dates posted on Jan. 06, 2006
**California Center:
(1) I-140 (advanced degree or exceptional ability) - July 29, 2005 (Receipt Notice Date)
(2) I-485 (employment-based adjustment applications) - June 16, 2005
**Nebraska Center:
(1) I-140 (advanced degree or exceptional ability) - November 19, 2005
(2) I-485 (employment-based adjustment applications) - May 15, 2004
Do the above "Receipt Notice Dates" mean the priority date of my labor certification?
I found that I-140 processing is about 4 months faster at NSC. And I-485 processing is about 13 months faster in CSC.
2. You mentioned that CIS has promised to finish, on the average, an immigation case within 6 months by October,2006. Is this 6-month for the combined processing time of I-140 & I-485?
