AOS:adjustment of status, what does it mean?

正在協商，我不知道是否給H1-B，我現在是H1-B (non-profit), 我需要提前計劃一下。

持AP回國
1. 回來後用EAD工作
2. 回來後用新的H1-B工作
3. 回來後用舊的H1-B工作（續合同）

這三者有區別嗎，什麽區別，望指教，謝謝
