asking imigrate

One of your post on EAD says: “One's status during I485 pending period is called AOS: adjustment of status. With only AOS, it is legal for one to live in the States.”I have a question. I used AP once and the stamp on I94 says “paroled until 1 Apr 2006”. So what should I do after 4/1/2006? Should I file something to keep my stay legal?
